Raising property finance

Client

The board of a property business was looking to develop projects of 50-150 residential units and required a range of funding options.

Problem

Our clients had their own equity to invest, but by their own admission they were not experts in raising finance and wanted to focus on the development rather than the finance.

Solution

We were asked to join the team, essentially as their outsourced CFO, where we have helped them raise senior debt, mezzanine finance, and equity from both within our own clients and our wider network.

We have completed several projects to date, with more in the pipeline. We are now bringing in a significant equity investor to help them move faster and with more certainty over site acquisition knowing they have the money behind them. This will eventually take them from being an SME towards becoming a PLC and possibly beyond.
