Case Study

Setting up an international branch

Client

A former wealth management client, now living overseas, wanted to set up a UK branch for his business.

Problem

He didn’t have the right visa status or tax structure.

Solution

The second element was to establish a structure that allowed him to operate two trading entities in the UK and a group holding company in Jersey.

We put together a structure allowing him the maximum flexibility from a legal and tax perspective. Our CEO now works as the Non-Executive Director of this new structure. This allows us to be actively involved in the UK company's affairs, making introductions, providing access to our strategic partners, and helping the business achieve its goals.
